Chris Brown and rapper Yella Beezy are facing a hefty lawsuit after a violent altercation allegedly erupted backstage at a concert on Brown’s “11:11 Tour.” The lawsuit, filed for $50 million by four plaintiffs, accuses Brown of orchestrating the attack alongside Yella Beezy, a member of his entourage known as Sinko Ceej, and entertainment giant Live Nation.
The plaintiffs, Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush, and Da Marcus Powell, claim they were invited backstage at the Fort Worth, Texas concert on July 20th, along with 40 other women. According to Bush’s account, things started off positive with a friendly greeting towards Brown, but quickly turned sour when a member of Brown’s team recognized him from a past dispute. Bush alleges Brown then ordered his crew to attack, with him being surrounded by a group of 7-10 people who proceeded to beat him.
Similar stories unfolded for the other plaintiffs, with Parker specifically claiming Yella Beezy was sent after him for an assault. All four men allege they sustained serious injuries and required medical treatment, with at least one remaining hospitalized according to their attorney, Tony Buzbee.
This lawsuit comes amidst separate online buzz surrounding Brown’s meet-and-greet sessions with fans on the tour. While some interactions have gone viral for their heartwarming nature, the lawsuit casts a shadow over the entire event.
